Deutsche Grammophon

The recording activity is very rich, with more than 100 CDs recorded for the major record companies and over 500,000 records sold all over the world.

The latest recording for the prestigious DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON record company, dedicated to a monograph by Morten Lauridsen, was published in September 2018. In June he received the nomination of the OPUS CLASSIC AWARDS 2019, the most important award for classical music in Germany.

Between the end of July and the beginning of August I VIRTUOSI ITALIANI will record the second CD for DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON, dedicated to Gioachino Rossini.

Golden tuning fork and other awards

Among the numerous recordings for Sony BMG, Chandos, Emi, Tactus, Naxos, Arts and Dynamic, the complete world premiere of FA Bonporti's work stands out, with Alberto Martini in the dual role of director and soloist, for which he received various record awards, including: “Five stars – Goldberg Prize” from the German magazine of the same name, the “Diapason d'or” from the French magazine Diapason, “Choc de la Musique” from the French magazine Le Monde de la Musique, as well as various “5 Stars” of the Italian magazine Musica.

Vanguard

Among the latest record releases is a CD entirely dedicated to music by P. Glass for the American record company Orange Mountain Music; the first modern world recording of Nicolò Porpora's Cantatas for soprano and strings, for Brillant Classic; a world premiere recording project (2 CDs), on original instruments from the unpublished symphonies, concerts and sacred motets by the composer Giovanni Simone Mayr, written in Venice, for Naxos.

Original instruments

The Virtuosi's attention to philological research has led them to perform in the baroque and classical repertoire also on original instruments.

Precisely in this context, the DVDs for UNITEL CLASSICA were released of GBPergolesi's works "Il Prigionier Superbo", "La Serva Padrona" and "La Salustia", directed by Corrado Rovaris and GB Spontini's "La Fuga in Maschera" also directed by Corrado Rovaris.
