He began studying guitar with Maestro Giorgio Baratella and later perfected his skills under the renowned Alirio Díaz. He started his concert career at a very young age as a soloist, later distinguishing himself in chamber music and major concertos for guitar and orchestra, with works dedicated to him by composers such as Violet Archer and Astor Piazzolla. Acclaimed by international critics, he has performed across Europe and the United States as one of the most highly regarded classical guitarists.

He has collaborated with European television networks and prominent figures in theatre, including Gassman, Cucciolla, and Pagliai. Frequently invited to serve on juries for major national and international competitions, he teaches advanced courses in Italy and abroad and is the first Italian guitarist to hold a master professorship at the Mozarteum in Salzburg.

He boasts numerous recordings both as a soloist and in chamber ensembles with artists such as Giuliano Carmignola, Franco Mezzena, Roberto Fabbriciani, the Amati Quartet, and Tullio De Piscopo. He is the founder of the ensembles “Paganini Consort” and “Guitarland.”

Flamenco Dancer

She began studying classical ballet at the age of six and earned her diploma as a classical dance teacher from AIDA (Italian Association of Classical Dance Teachers, graduates of Teatro alla Scala). Since 2024, she has been a member of AIDA. She trained with internationally renowned instructors such as Eliane Arditi, Marisa Caprara, Amelia Colombini, Letizia Fabbrucci, and Ioulia Sofina. Alongside academic ballet, she has studied various other dance styles.

She has been studying flamenco for many years with the Il Contrattempo company in Brescia, with which she regularly performs. She further deepened her flamenco training in Jerez de la Frontera, earning a diploma from the SDS (Sociedad de Danza Española), and in Seville with internationally acclaimed masters.

She also began studying Argentine tango at the Escuela de Tango in Brescia and has taken workshops at DNI Tango School in Buenos Aires. Since 2011, she has been teaching classical ballet at Il Contrattempo School, both at Teatro Centro Lucia in Botticino and at the prestigious Palazzo Bettoni venue in Brescia.

I Virtuosi Italiani is one of the most active and renowned ensembles on the international music scene. Founded in 1989, they regularly perform in major theaters and festivals worldwide and are known for their artistic quality, innovative programming, and exploration of diverse musical languages.

They have collaborated with prestigious institutions such as Teatro alla Scala, La Fenice, Santa Cecilia, the Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Konzerthaus Wien, and Seoul Arts Center, among many others. Since 2011, they have been the resident ensemble at Venice’s Church of La Pietà, historically linked to Antonio Vivaldi.

Their vast discography includes over 100 CDs and collaborations with Deutsche Grammophon, Warner Classics, and CPO. They were awarded the Diapason d’Or de l’Année 2021 and received an Opus Klassik nomination in 2019.

Their repertoire ranges from historically informed performances on period instruments to crossover projects with artists such as Chick Corea, Paolo Fresu, Ludovico Einaudi, Uri Caine, and Goran Bregovic—bridging classical and contemporary soundscapes.

As Enrico Girardi wrote in Corriere della Sera:

“I Virtuosi Italiani are an outstanding ensemble, performing with stylistic awareness, energy, and brilliance across baroque, classical, and contemporary repertoires.”
