Maya Oganyan, seventeen, was born in Moscow and has lived and studied in Venice since 2011. He began studying the piano at the age of 4 with Maestro Alexander Maykapar, professor at the “Gnessin” Music Academy in Moscow. In 2015 he entered the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory in Venice, where he studied under the guidance of Maestro Massimo Somenzi and continued from 2022 in the class of Maestro Olaf John Laneri.

Oleg Caetani is considered one of the greatest conductors of his generation, both in the symphonic and operatic repertoire. Caetani considers Nadia Boulanger the inspiring source of his career who, after discovering his talent, initiated him into the study of music and passed on to him her philosophical approach to life, linked to Montaigne, which still characterizes him today.
