Concert by the students of the violin workshop
The workshop is open to students from all over the world who wish to refine their skills and showcase their talent in a prestigious final concert.
Violin
A descendant of a family of artists from Bologna, he began studying the violin at an exceptionally young age — not yet five — and with such dedication that he graduated at just 16 from the Conservatory of Bologna under Sandro Materassi. He immediately embarked on a concert career, winning major national and international competitions, including Vittorio Veneto and Munich.
At 18, in 1965, he recorded his first two albums for Erato in Paris. His discography later expanded with EMI, Dynamic, and Naxos, featuring numerous recordings spanning a wide historical range — from Vivaldi to Busoni, Campagnoli to Wolf-Ferrari.
